The midterm elections didn’t go effectively for the GOP; there’s no sugarcoating it.

But if leftists suppose they’ve just voted for optimistic change and options to “affordability,” they’ve acquired another suppose coming. The Democrats’ reply to affordability is more taxes, and their main philosophy going ahead shall be lawfare, lawfare, and more lawfare.

Here’s their total governing philosophy summed up in one tweet, courtesy of Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia (CA-42):

How will this better the lives of the American people? Hint: It gained’t.

True, many conservatives are feeling battered today following the unlucky electoral outcomes last evening, but that’s not the end of the story: Democrats will virtually definitely overplay their arms with their extremist socialist visions and their promised countless investigations.

Despite their fever goals, there’s still somebody standing in their method. Buckle up:

As we’ve reported, President Trump still has two years left in workplace, and he wields a highly effective weapon: the veto pen. He’s also indicated he would think about pardoning aides who are hounded by Democrat revenge makes an attempt. Meanwhile, he’s still the chief govt of the United States, that means that the Department of Justice under his watch doubtless gained’t go on pointless fishing expeditions as they did with the bogus “Russia Collusion” idiocy.

Welcome, Democrats, to your actuality: “Still Your President.”

I totally admit that while I knew we confronted an uphill battle in the midterms, I might not have predicted some of the bat guano outcomes we noticed, particularly in Texas. But in two years, when the Dems could have delivered on precisely zero of their guarantees, will the taking part in discipline shift? Presidential elections are notoriously different from years when there’s no commander in chief on the poll, and the Democrats don’t precisely have a promising discipline of candidates.

Kamala Harris? Pete Buttigieg? JB Pritzker? Doesn’t that seem to be the C-Team of a unhealthy high faculty discipline hockey squad?

Of course, California Gov. Gavin Newsom thinks he presents what appears to be a formidable problem, but I’m guessing that, like Kamala, he’ll faceplant on the national stage when people actually look at his astonishing report of failure and frankly bizarre personal affectations.

It’s going to take more than Central Casting seems and gobs of hair gel to win a presidential election.

Tuesday evening wasn’t fairly, but it’s hardly the first time a celebration in energy has been damage in the midterms. In fact, the only two instances since WWII that the president’s celebration gained had been Clinton in 1998 and Bush in 2002, and not even the Left’s hero and savior Barack Obama managed to prevail in 2010 or 2014.

That doesn’t imply this is what we wished — far from it. But we have now to decide ourselves up off the flooring and keep on preventing, because socialism/Marxism always leads to mass homicide, hunger, purges, and decline.

There’s not a lot of a silver lining to some of the outcomes, other than to say that the Democrats now have two years to show the public that their main objectives in life are to tax, regulate, and examine — but they’ve virtually no proposals that will make your life safer, more inexpensive, or better.

Worse, if they regain the White House and retain control of both chambers of Congress in 2028, they’ll doubtless nuke the filibuster, continue their struggle on vitality, stuff the Supreme Court with Democrats, add new left-leaning states like Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, and essentially alter the United States as we all know it.

Tuesday evening’s battle was, admittedly, a loss. But the struggle for the soul of America is way from over, and if we give up now, we are going to soon descend into third-world — or worse — standing. I believe Donald Trump, JD Vance, Marco Rubio, Ron DeSantis, and others could have one thing to say about that.

If a Gavin Newsom or Kamala Harris prevails in ’28, I could formally give up saying there are indicators of hope, because there gained’t be many.

But until and unless that occurs, it’s full throttle for the next two years. The Iran battle and the ensuing increased costs performed a enormous function in voter sentiment, but that very effectively could also be resolved by the next time we head to the poll box. Ronald Reagan was vastly unpopular during his first two years, and misplaced 26 seats in the House in the 1982 midterms — until the outcomes of his insurance policies began to take impact. Then he gained reelection in a historic 1984 landslide.

The real battle commences… proper now. Game on.
