Fans of detective dramas are being urged to watch a British crime drama hailed ‘close to flawless’.

The bingeable sequence, which initially aired on ITV back in 2016, follows a group of UK detectives working for the fictional Woodmere police pressure.

As they examine the homicide of a local doctor who was stabbed in a playground, they uncover homicide has hyperlinks to a German pharmaceutical company.

Paranoid is the sequence in query and it’s accessible to stream on Netflix now.

Paranoid is set in the small fictional city of Woodmere, where detectives Michael Niles (Neil Stuke), Nina Suresh (Varma), Alec Wayfield (Fetscher) and Bobby Day (Glenister) start to piece together what occurred after Doctor Angela Benton took her three-year-old son Luke to the playground.

Angela is brutally attacked by a man whose face is roofed from view and his earlier weird behaviour is seen by eyewitness Lucy Cannonbury (Lesley Sharp).
