Akshay Kumar wraps Keralam schedule of Anees | Indian Movie News
Akshay Kumar has accomplished the Keralam schedule of his upcoming untitled movie directed by Anees Bazmee. The actor shared the update on May 5, 2026, marking the end of an intensive shoot that happened across scenic areas such as Munnar and Marayoor.
Taking to social media, Akshay posted a image that includes his co-stars Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna. The image was set against conventional cultural shows from Kerala, including performers representing Kathakali, Mohiniyattam and Theyyam, reflecting the local creative heritage of the area where the movie was shot.
In the photograph, Akshay is seen dressed in a darkish gray outfit paired with sun shades, while Vidya Balan seems in a white outsized shirt and denim denims. Raashii Khanna is seen in a black gown. The presence of classical performers in the backdrop provides a cultural context to the shoot location, which has often been referred to as “God’s Own Country.”

The Kerala leg started on April 23, when Akshay and Vidya have been seen boarding a non-public airplane to head for the shoot. The schedule targeted on out of doors sequences, making use of the area’s landscapes.
This movie marks the fourth collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. It also brings Akshay back together with Anees Bazmee after a hole of 15 years.
