“You know Charles Oliveira, he is going to come ahead. He’s going to press like he at all times does. Should he against any person like ilia with fingers like Ilia does? Will Ilia just attempt and fire immediately and attempt and land that shot? It’s a very fascinating one for me because Ilia does have that energy but is he going to need to be that little bit more technical somewhat than just brawl. I do not know because Charles, if he does what he normally does, he comes aggressively. He forces you to struggle. Will Ilia need to just be pressured into that struggle, or will he need to play his recreation first? It’s going to be fascinating.”
Volkanovski knows firsthand the power Topuria has in his hands. He was knocked out by “El Matador” at UFC 298 in February 2024. He believes Topuria can do that same to Oliveira on Saturday.Â
“I’m going to go with Ilia. I feel Ilia’s going to get the win. I feel Ilia can catch him,” Volkanovski said. “I reckon an early knockout. Early knockout for Ilia Topuria.”Â
Topuria will enter the struggle as a heavy betting favourite.Â
