Alysa Liu opens up on harrowing fallout of being…

U.S. gold-medal determine skater Alysa Liu said she was chased to her car during an encounter with followers at the airport after returning from the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.

The 20-year-old Liu, who received the ladies’s singles determine skating competitors at video games, described the startling scene in an Instagram Story post, including a crying emoji and a meme.

“So I land at the airport, & there’s a crowd waiting at the exit with cameras & things for me to sign,” Liu, a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, wrote. “All up in my personal space.

“Someone chased me to my car bruh. Please do not do that to me.”

Liu, who didn’t share additional particulars, is coming off a whirlwind Winter Olympics.

She made historical past by changing into the first American lady in 24 years to win the determine skating singles event.

Liu and her U.S. teammates, Amber Glenn and Isabeau Levito — nicknamed the “Blade Angels” — received gold in the determine skating workforce competitors in Milan.

Liu had one of the best comeback tales ever after she retired at the age of 16 following the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

She announced her retirement in an Instagram post that said she was happy with her profession at that level — and later told NBC Sports that she wasn’t having fun with determine skating.

Liu enrolled at UCLA in the autumn of 2023.

The Blade Angels garnered a lot consideration throughout the Winter Games.

Glenn beforehand mentioned the negativity athletes confronted online during the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.

“I really hope that going forward we can find a way to support the athletes, especially when it comes to online, there are some really disturbing things when it comes to all three of us U.S. athletes online,” Glenn, 26, said at the end of the Olympics, according to GWN.

“It’s hard not to see that stuff online. I hope that can work to have a safer place for athletes, especially people very young, like Isabeau.”
