Amber Riley addresses rumors regarding her Masked | TV Shows

Amber Riley refuses to be discredited for the stellar performance she gave on The Masked Singer.

With another season of Fox’s reality show underway, a former winner is facing allegations that her win was not deserved.

The Glee actress received a comment under a recent Instagram post that read: “Oh look, the DEI [diversity, equity and inclusion] winner of The Masked Singer that didn’t deserve it.”

While Amber usually doesn’t respond to her comment section, the actress felt like she couldn’t dismiss the insult.

She replied: “It’s the MASKED singer. I was in a MASK. I;m gonna let you think about this comment again,” followed by a laughing emoji.

Amber followed the video with another showing off her vocal talent.

She added: “Also, just to be very clear. This is why I won Masked Singer,” followed by a clip of her finale performance on the show, where she performed a rendition of John Mayer’s 2006 hit single Gravity.

The actress captioned the photo: “”Stop playin wit me and you have the day that you deserve.”

Her fans, and some stars like Kristen Chenoweth, applauded her outspokenness in the comment section.

One wrote: “Ha!! Let em Know!!! SING SWEETNESS!!”

Another said: “The FLEX i needed to see today!”

A third chimed in: “DEI must now mean DONT EVA IN YOUR LIFE!!!! It’s all good cos you got your win, and they got put on blast. Everyone got what they deserved!!!”
