Aqueduct slots operator faces Las Vegas lawsuit,…

What occurs in Vegas sometimes doesn’t keep in Vegas.

A high-stakes gambler turned whistleblower filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the group that operates the slots parlor at Aqueduct – probably complicating a deliberate on line casino at the location.

A 95-page federal lawsuit against the house owners of the Genting Group – which operates the Resorts World slots parlor at Aqueduct – claims management at Resort’s World’s Las Vegas allowed crooks to launder unlawful proceeds by playing.

The go well with said Genting’s Resorts World Vegas facility performed common business with an unlawful bookie, Matthew Bowyer, who was putting bets for the corrupt former Japanese interpreter for baseball celebrity Shohei Ohtani.

Genting’s Resorts World New York was just awarded a on line casino license Monday to operate desk video games at Aqueduct, pending closing approval from the state Gaming Commission.

The go well with doesn’t point out any wrongdoing involving officers at Resorts World New York, whose slot and leisure business has been working for some 15 years at Aqueduct without major scandal.

This is a developing story.
