Public proposals could be a dangerous business, as one couple discovered during an Australian indie band’s live performance.

Over the weekend, various indie duo Bootleg Rascal, composed of Carlos Lara and Jimmy Young, kicked off their Reasons tour in Brisbane.

However, the first live gig took an surprising flip when a romantic gesture between two followers rapidly spiraled into a painfully awkward spectacle.
