Baywatch star David Charvet fatally strikes dog…
Former “Baywatch” star David Charvet by chance struck and killed a dog with his pickup truck in Malibu early Thursday morning.
A spokesperson for the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s station said proprietor Vera Errico’s canine have been off their leashes when Charvet drove by on Cross Creek Road around 5:30 a.m.
Charvet swerved to keep away from the animals when they ran in entrance of his truck, but tragically one of the canine was struck and killed, police said.

“It appears at this time the dogs were off the leash and the driver attempted to evade the dogs and accidentally hit one,” the spokesperson said.
Charvet remained on the scene and called police to report the accident.
But a consultant for Charvet tells Page Six that the actor “remained at the scene until authorities arrived.”
They famous he “is an animal lover and responsible dog owner who would never intentionally harm an animal,” before additional explaining the occasions that led up to the incident.

The actor told GWN he had “no comment” when reached by telephone and referred a reporter to his publicist.
Charvet is a French-born actor best recognized for his ’90s roles as Matt Brody on “Baywatch” and Craig Field on “Melrose Place.”
