But the presenter wasn’t afraid to talk about some of the more durable components of the job that come with working in the public eye. She admitted: “I’ve been doing it for so long now that I just get to get on with my job, but I guess sometimes you have to be very aware of what you do.

“Working for the BBC is a very important establishment, but I do not assume I change myself behaviour massively. I just attempt and be as genuine as potential.”

For the lavish red carpet event, the doting mum rocked a glamorous green Victoria Beckham dress which the fansionista rocked at Holly Ramsay’s wedding to Adam Peaty in December.

Before taking her seat in the ballroom for dinner, the TV star showed her support for the former Spice Girls star as she gushed about Victoria’s fashion line.
