The One Show presenter Roman Kemp issued an apology after a visitor used a swear phrase live on air. The programme returned on Thursday, twenty fifth June, with Roman becoming a member of Alex Jones on the couch. They welcomed company Kate Humble, Ben Fogle and Martin Clunes to the show, before proceedings descended into chaos.
The Doc Martin star had been discussing the American model of the much-loved collection rising, with Josh Charles taking on the lead function. As a preview clip was broadcast, Martin was quizzed about Josh’s interpretation of taking part in the cantankerous doctor, studies the Mirror.

He replied: “He’s completely done his own thing, much nicer than me, less awkward and abrasive… he’s warm and better-looking.”
Martin then reacted to a second he had just witnessed from the preview, including: “I was just looking at that bit… they wouldn’t let me call the dog the son of a b***h, which I thought was funny.”
As the studio dissolved into laughter, Roman swiftly moved to apologise, saying: “I have to apologise quickly.”
Alex playfully scolded Martin, including: “You’ve been on a hundred times!”
Martin then turned to Ben, arguing: “He’s a vet… it’s a female dog!”

Continuing about the programme, Martin went on to deal with the future of the show, saying: “They’re going again, they’re doing another series.”

“He’s also bought a large blood phobia – which does not help his skills as a doctor who could need to have a tendency to wounds from time to time.
“But behind his brusque attitude and no-nonsense approach to a bedside manner, Dr Martin hides his own personal pain that he is hiding from the world which explains why he is the way he is. Will this little town bring him out of his shell?”
