However, as Billboard states, solely McCartney and Starr—the 2 surviving members of the band—are named as nominees.

Lennon and Harrison, who handed away in 1980 and 2001 respectively, aren’t eligible to earn nominations attributable to Grammy guidelines requiring recordings to have been made within 5 years of their release.

Lennon may also not be eligible for the Grammy for Best Boxed Set or Limited Edition Package for his boxed set of his 1973 album Mind Games.
