Ben Shapiro got here under fire from conservatives after defending Trump’s battle against Iran.

The conservative political commentator spoke with host Jacqui Heinrich on her Fox News program, The Sunday Briefing. The two mentioned the current battle against Iran, which entered a two-week ceasefire with the United States. The interview also happened after Vice President JD Vance failed to broker a deal between the 2 warring nations during the prolonged peace talks in Pakistan.

Shapiro boldly claimed the bulk of Americans help the president’s battle against Iran. This comes as President Trump vowed to “eliminate” Iranian ships with the rockets beforehand used on Venezuelan narco-terrorists.

“What do you do to stop terrible narratives?” Heinrich requested on April 12. “From talking hold and changing people’s minds and informing their thoughts about things?”

The editor emeritus for The Daily Wire answered, “I mean, I think the algorithmic disconnect is quite real, particularly on X. But you also see it on TikTok and other social media.

“People need to contact grass. Go discuss to the people that you go to church with, and what you will discover out is that most of those people agree with the president of the United States. The overwhelming majority of conservatives have agreed for 50 years that the Iranian regime is a menace to the United States, to its allies, to the area, and to the world.

“And this president is making the greatest foreign police move of my lifetime and actually keeping a promise that he made back in 1980 that he would take on the Iranian regime if he ever got the power. Again, this conspiratorial notion that the president switched his opinion here ignores four-plus decades of being perfectly consistent on this issue.

Shapiro closed, “And as our standard association, only this president had the balls to truly keep the guarantees that other presidents have made.”

Viewers took to social media and slammed Shapiro’s comments, arguing that the Iran conflict has affected the everyday lives of Americans.

One person said, “People are going to church and speaking with others, Ben. They are offended at Trump, grocery costs, gasoline, and they’re offended at you and Israel for dragging us into this unlawful battle with Iran, while Israel commits genocides in Palestine and Lebanon.”

Another individual added, “This disgusting traitor thinks he can manipulate Christians. The only cause he encourages people to go to church is that he thinks that will trigger them unconditional help for Israel.”

A 3rd wrote, “Ben Shapiro tells people to discuss to their church good friend, and magically everybody agrees with Donald Trump. The people in my conservative church are turning away from Trump like rats on a sinking ship.”

Despite the criticism, Shapiro did have a supporter who agreed with the war and shared, “He speaks the reality! The GOP will do very effectively in the midterms as a consequence!

After the 21-hour negotiating session on April 11, Vice President JD Vance acknowledged: “We need to see an affirmative commitment they will not seek a nuclear weapon, and they will not seek the tools that would enable them to quickly achieve a nuclear weapon.”
