Pam Bondi was axed from her place just at some point after the Department of Justice agreed to share the Epstein information with New Mexico.
The Attorney General was ousted from her function in the Trump administration on April 2, amid growing frustration over her mismanagement of the Epstein information. In a letter despatched by New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez to Todd Blanche last month, Torrez demanded that the DOJ finally flip over the information related to the investigation into Epstein in New Mexico.
The letter, reported by MS-Now, laid out a clear timeline exhibiting how the DOJ has given him the runaround, promising cooperation but in the end giving him none.
The timeline confirmed that on April 1, during a phone convention with Associate Deputy Attorney General Diego Pestana, the DOJ confirmed its dedication to cooperation and directed the NMDOJ to submit a formal Touhy letter through commonplace channels.
A Touhy request, per the Office of the Inspector General, seeks official data for litigation functions, including witnesses and paperwork, when the Government is just not a occasion to the litigation.
