Renat Agzamov, a former Russian boxing champion, has swapped the ring for the kitchen to change into a globally acclaimed pastry chef. Born in Kyiv in 1981, Agzamov found his love for boxing as a teenager and skilled with the Russian Olympic crew at CSKA Moscow, where he gained a number of heavyweight titles.

However, when his father fell in poor health, a 15-year-old Agzamov was pressured to grasp up his gloves and start working in Moscow’s kitchens. Despite struggling with low pay and difficult situations, his ardour for baking never waned.

Over time, Agzamov established himself as one of the world’s most celebrated bakers. In the past three many years, he has gained awards at quite a few world championships and even earned the title of confectionery champion in Russia.

Agzamov claims to have baked an astonishing 2,700 desserts, despite spending his teenage years in the boxing ring. His love for baking started when he was just seven years previous and finally turned his life’s calling.

This astonishing masterpiece weighed a hefty 3,300 kilos (1.5 tonnes) and was showcased at the marriage of Kazakhstan’s president’s niece to an oligarch’s son. Now, he instructions a whole bunch of hundreds of kilos for his culinary experience, but there was a time when he made his dwelling by boxing. For somebody who spent half of his teenage years striving to bodily overpower his opponents before his life took a different flip, the change to cake baking is all the more outstanding.

This is not the first time the ex-boxer has surprised people with his colossal desserts. On one event, onlookers have been amazed when three males have been needed to carry a 10-foot tiered cake at the marriage of Madina Shokirova, the daughter of oil tycoon Ilkhom Shokirova.

In addition to drawing inspiration from common movies, he is also recreated world-famous landmarks like Rome’s Trevi Fountain in cake kind, with the previous boxer now globetrotting to cater to new shoppers.
