Brandel Chamblee has made his emotions recognized about LIV Golf, labeling the breakaway circuit a “cancer” after Saudi officers announced funding cuts following the 2026 season. LIV Golf secured 4 full years of funding from the PIF, having lured two-time U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau and two-time major winner Jon Rahm away from the PGA Tour when it launched.

Now, however, gamers are going through an unsure future relating to their return to the game after the 2026 season concludes. “It is in the striving to get better that one will get richer, that is the transformative affect of sport; both the athlete and viewers benefit from the norms of competitors. Sportswashing, what MBS/PIF have been making an attempt to do with LIV by paying athletes for their superstar to confer legitimacy on their murderous regime, reverses this course of because it’s only ostensibly about the competitors, it’s primarily about the obfuscation of the horrors of the regime.”
