Brian Daboll set to join Robert Salehs Titans…

Two failed New York head coaches are hoping they’ll discover success together in Nashville.

Brian Daboll, fired as the Giants’ head coach in November, has agreed to turn out to be new Titans head coach and ex-Jets boss Robert Saleh’s offensive coordinator, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday.

The deal is contingent upon Daboll not getting the Raiders’ head teaching job, Schefter added. Daboll has interviewed twice for the Las Vegas job.

The Jets gave Saleh his first head teaching gig in 2021, but he was fired 5 video games into his fourth season after accruing a 20-36 document.

He returned to his earlier post as 49ers defensive coordinator this season before getting the Titans gig.

Daboll, 50, was employed by the Giants one yr after Saleh got here to city and rapidly received Big Blue back to the playoffs and profitable a wild-card recreation.

But the Giants then went backwards, going 6-11 in 2023 and 3-14 in 2024 before Daboll received the pink slip at 2-8 this season, ending with a 20-40-1 document.
