Nicola Peltz reportedly issued an ultimatum to Brooklyn Beckham after feeling overshadowed by his former Spice Girl mom, Victoria, at their wedding ceremony. After months of estrangement from his mother and father, the aspiring chef, aged 26, reignited the household feud with a prolonged, scathing assertion on Instagram as he bashed their behaviour.

Brooklyn’s assertion on Monday made it clear that he had no intention of making amends with his household and also took goal at his mom. In a post on his Instagram Stories, Brooklyn alleged that the previous pop star had spoiled what ought to have been his first dance with Nicola by dancing “inappropriately” with him. The budding chef also accused Victoria of “hijacking” the second, leaving him feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. He wrote: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.

“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my complete life. We needed to renew our vows so we may create new reminiscences of our wedding ceremony day that carry us pleasure and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”

However, a source who alleges to have been present at the wedding has disputed Brooklyn’s claims, asserting that he and actress Nicola did indeed share their first dance. The source also maintains that Nicola danced with her father, Nelson, prior to Brooklyn and Victoria’s dance.

DJ Fat Tony, a friend of Victoria who provided the music at the wedding, also defended the dance as not being inappropriate. Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, Fat Tony stated: “There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC catsuit, there was no Spice Girls actions. The phrase inappropriate – why I said it was inappropriate as effectively, because it was the timing.”

According to DJ Fat Tony, Nicola Peltz wasn’t the only one to leave her wedding following Victoria Beckham’s “inappropriate” dance with her son, Brooklyn. The DJ claimed that the entire Peltz family followed her out.

While DJ Fat Tony seems to support Brooklyn’s version of events, Vogue, which reported on the 2022 wedding at the time, noted that the couple shared their first dance to Elvis Presley‘s Can’t Help Falling In Love, and that Marc Anthony performed later. The publication mentioned that Brooklyn “invited his mom on stage for a dance” and they were joined by father David and younger sister Harper.

A butler from the 2022 celebration has now revealed to The Sun that Nicola issued Brooklyn with an ultimatum following their wedding day. They said: “Nicola is the issue and the rationale Brooklyn and his mother and father do not discuss. After the dance row, she told Brooklyn in regard to David and Victoria: ‘I do not need to be around them, and you might have a choice to make: Me or her’.

“She gave him an ultimatum and he was helpless in that scenario to do anything other than choose his wife.”

The publication also alleges that Nicola has “put her foot down” and declared “I’m not going” to any invitation from David and Victoria.
