A sex toy was thrown onto the court during the WNBA match between the Indiana Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks, inflicting the sport to be suspended. It ended with the Sparks claiming a 100-91 victory over the Fever, who had been lacking Caitlin Clark due to a groin damage. As the midway level approached, a fan threw a inexperienced sex toy onto the court. It happened during a free throw and induced the match to be stopped until the article had been cleared. The incident was captured live on CBS Sports and caught the commentator off-guard as he tried to react to what was taking place.

“Something just came onto the floor,” they said. “An object just flew in as the free throw is being made. It looked like that hit a player, too.”

Replay commentator Morgan Ragan added: “No room for any of that type of activity. And no one’s picked the object up yet, you guys.”

The incident marked the third time in the space of a week that a sex toy had been thrown onto the court during a WNBA sport. It appeared to hit Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, who stepped back in an attempt to keep away from the incoming object.

Sparks participant Kelsey Plum then walked over to kick the toy off the enjoying floor. Fans had been heard booing in the aftermath of the incident but Cunningham appeared to see the humorous aspect, strolling over to the Sparks bench and laughing about it.

The first incident happened at the end of last month during a match between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream. Footage on social media clearly confirmed a sex toy being thrown onto the court during open play.

A second throw occurred during a later sport between the Valkyries and the Chicago Sky. Play was stopped in the second quarter so that officers might take away the article from the court.

Sparks coach Lynne Roberts was not impressed with the incident that happened on Wednesday, describing the pattern as ‘actually silly’ and urging followers to suppose about participant security.

“I think it’s ridiculous, it’s dumb, it’s stupid,” fumed Roberts. “It’s also dangerous and player safety is number one, respecting the game, all those things. I think it’s really stupid.”
