CBS is popping to comedian-turned-media mogul Byron Allen to substitute “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” beginning next month.
The community announced Monday that it would air back-to-back episodes of Allen’s “Comics Unleashed,” starting at 11:35 p.m. for the 2026-2027 season.
CBS, which lately aired Allen’s roundtable-style comedy speak show in the 12:35 a.m. slot, made the choice after it announced last July that it was getting out of the late-night recreation fully.
