CENTCOM Fires Back at Mainstream Media Claims of

The experiences are in every single place — depressing circumstances supposedly aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, including food shortages, damaged plumbing, widespread exhaustion, and plummeting morale. It’s so dangerous, these experiences say, that some sailors have tried to bounce overboard and presumably drown. Breathless headlines like “Conditions on US aircraft carrier at sea for more than 250 days raise alarms” are rampant.

Democrat lawmakers like Richard “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal (D-CT) are demanding solutions and writing strongly worded letters.

The U.S. navy was already making ready to change the USS Abraham Lincoln with the USS George Washington as half of a scheduled Middle East deployment, which is able to deliver the Lincoln’s more than (so far) 260+ days of service at sea to an end.

🚫CLAIM: Over the past 48 hours, a number of media shops have reported a number of false claims associated to USS Abraham Lincoln’s (CVN 72) deployment to the Middle East. One report alleged seven Sailors died in a brawl aboard the plane service and others have lately advised a spike in suicidal ideations. These experiences are FALSE.

As a matter of fact, according to the Pentagon, the Lincoln has among the very best crew reenlistment charges at 84.4 p.c, and a sailor who fell overboard was rapidly rescued. Meanwhile, they identified that the story about seven service members dying in a knife battle originated from, where else, Iranian state media.

Trump’s Air Force One ‘Decoy’ Fooled the Press. Good. That Was the Point.

It definitely has been a long deployment with very few port calls — although the USS Gerald Ford accomplished a longer 326-day one that ended in May. I don’t doubt that it may be bodily and mentally exhausting, and that not the whole lot has gone completely with the food and the plumbing, as navy households have credibly reported on. We’re speaking about professionals, though, and they’ve educated long and laborious for precisely this sort of troublesome mission. War is never comfy. 

I never need to decrease the sacrifice and hardships that face our American heroes, but I also received’t start shopping for into the more severe morale and operational points claims until I see concrete evidence from somebody more credible than the Iranian propaganda machine, the mainstream news, or the always-shrieking Democrats.
