Political commentator Marina Purkiss could not conceal her frustration as she clashed with two callers over Donald Trump. The 41-year-old was showing as a panelist on Jeremy Vine when she heard from Jeanette and Paul, who both defended Trump’s choice to strike Iran. Jeanette snapped back: “That’s your opinion but allow someone else to have their opinion!”

“I don’t want my grandkids growing up in a nuclear threat over there,” he said.

Marina raged: “Paul, why don’t you take the word of the CIA, the American intelligence? Why don’t you take that as enough information there for you to understand that there was no nuclear threat and in fact, Obama signed the JCPOA deal in 2015 which blocked all pathways for Iran to achieve that nuclear weapon which Trump ripped up.

“If you care so a lot about your youngsters, why weren’t you livid that Trump, your most important man in the world, ripped up that safeguarding settlement?”

Paul, from Herefordshire, responded: “He is the most important man in the world.”

“Answer the query,” Marina replied as Paul said: “Regarding Israel, they will not stop bombing until Hamas is completed.”

A fed up Marina snapped: “Oh christ. We’re speaking about different international locations now as properly.”
