Charges Dropped: Big Tigger Won’t Face Charges In…
Big Tigger is no longer going through felony prosecution after months of legal hypothesis. The former Atlanta radio host, whose real identify is Darian Morgan, was arrested back in June on battery and baby cruelty prices tied to a home dispute with his estranged spouse, Alicia Brown. However, court paperwork now verify the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has declined to transfer ahead with the case.

According to WSB-TV Atlanta, the unique arrest stemmed from an argument between Morgan and his spouse, Alicia, back in May over textual content messages he’d obtained from a feminine coworker. Brown alleged that during the confrontation, Morgan used pressure to transfer her, inflicting her to stumble headfirst into an workplace door.
GWN reported that Brown’s accusations went past the initial altercation. She claimed the injury left her needing stitches, and alleged that Big Tigger pressured her afterward to deny what occurred, reportedly warning her that she would “lose everything” if she spoke out. Brown also revoked her access to the home’s Ring cameras and distant gate controls following the incident.
Big Tigger Maintains His Innocence
As BOSSIP reported, arrest warrants detailed a timeline of the May ninth altercation, alleging that the argument escalated after Morgan called his spouse “psycho” during a dispute over outdated textual content messages. Brown told police that Morgan tackled her to the ground at one level, and later, during a separate second in the altercation, allegedly shoved her from behind after she requested him to stop touching her, inflicting her to fall into a door and maintain a deep laceration over her eye. The warrants also famous that the couple’s 13-year-old son was home at the time and might allegedly hear the altercation unfold.
Brown was granted a momentary protecting order in June requiring Morgan to keep 200 yards away from her and their kids, along with momentary custody of the children and exclusive use of the household home. Morgan was arrested on June 20 and launched on a $10,000 bond shortly after.
From the start, Big Tigger firmly denied the allegations against him. In a assertion posted to Instagram following his arrest, he wrote, “I unequivocally deny every allegation that has been made against me. For the past 30+ years, I have built my life around relationships and community. Those who know me know the man, father, husband, and friend I have been throughout my life.” He added that he had “complete confidence in the facts and in the legal process” and would continue cooperating with authorities.
The scenario grew even more sophisticated when Brown herself was later arrested during a site visitors stop on Interstate 85 close to the South Carolina line, tied to kidnapping and custodial interference warrants related to a 2019 lacking individuals case out of Baltimore. Brown has since filed a federal lawsuit against the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, alleging the warrant used against her was “erroneous” and claiming she had already been granted custody of her kids with that charge dropped. She also alleged that Big Tigger obtained preferential treatment in the case due to a personal friendship with Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat.
