Charles Barkley didn’t maintain back with his criticism of Victor Wembanyama during halftime of Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Friday evening in San Antonio.
“Wemby’s in shock right now,” Barkley, the Hall of Famer and “Inside the NBA” analyst, said. “It’s probably been a long time since he got his ass kicked like this. … But right now, big KAT is taking his ass to the woodshed.”
Barkley said Wembanyama regarded flustered during the first half and was throwing the ball all over the place.
He completed the half with seven factors on 2-for-4 capturing with 5 rebounds across 18 minutes in the opening half. Though he also blocked two photographs, he was outplayed by Karl-Anthony Towns — who poured in 17 factors to lead the Knicks.

Towns helped the Knicks overcome a double-digit deficit and take a four-point benefit into the third quarter, main 56-52.
De’Aaron Fox led the Spurs with 12 factors.
