Chers son Elijah Blue Allman overdoses, rushed to…

Cher’s 48-year-old son, Elijah Blue Allman, was rushed to the hospital after overdosing in Joshua Tree, California on Saturday morning, according to Gossip Wire News.

Elijah is reportedly still in the hospital and “receiving the best care possible,” the outlet reported on Sunday.

Gossip Wire News added that Elijah is “lucky to have survived.”

It’s unclear what medication Elijah was utilizing.

Sources informed Gossip Wire News that Cher, 79, is concentrated on her son’s well-being and is “doing everything she can to get him the help he needs.”

The Post has reached out to Cher for remark.

Elijah’s father was the late Southern rockstar Gregg Allman, whom Cher was married to from 1975 to 1979. He died of problems from liver cancer at age 69 in May 2017.

Elijah has dealt with substance abuse points since he was a child.

In 2014, he informed Entertainment Tonight that he began utilizing medication at age 11. “I [was] just looking to escape all the things in my past and, that’s when you turn to those kind of drugs, you know heroin and opiates,” he stated.

“[Heroin] kind of saved me. If I didn’t have that at that point, I don’t know what I would have done,” Elijah added. “You may jump off a bridge. If you can only just go through that time period and live through it and then get help.”

He also recalled having “some close calls and some moments of really feeling at the edge of mortality.”

In Dec. 2023, Cher utilized to place her son in a conservatorship, claiming he couldn’t “substantially manage his own financial resources” because of “severe mental health and substance abuse issues.”

“Any funds distributed to Elijah will immediately be spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself, and putting Elijah’s life at risk,” the legal paperwork said.

She also claimed that Elijah’s estranged spouse, Marieangela King, was a dangerous affect on her son and actively labored against her efforts to get him help.

King, for her half, accused the “Believe” singer of hiring 4 males to kidnap Elijah to ship him to a rehab facility.

Cher denied King’s kidnapping allegations and informed The Post at the time, “I didn’t do it, and if I did it, I wouldn’t say I did it.”

The Goddess of Pop later dismissed the conservatorship case in September 2024.

King filed for divorce from Elijah in April, citing irreconcilable variations. She marked their date of separation as March 31, 2025.

Last month, Elijah appeared matted as he was noticed outdoors the well-known Chateau Marmont lodge in Los Angeles.

He was smoking a cigarette, his garments had been in tatters and he had sores on his physique. He also struggled to stand up straight as he stumbled around the Hollywood hotspot.
