What was supposed to be a dream come true for Tomi Adeyemi reportedly turned into an expertise she never desires to relive. The bestselling creator behind Children of visible injury and Bone has been noticeably distant from the upcoming movie adaptation, and now, a new report is shedding more gentle on the drama that allegedly unfolded behind the scenes.
Adeyemi beforehand revealed that she wouldn’t take part in the movie’s promotion, despite having spent years serving to to carry her beloved fantasy novel to the big screen. The drama reportedly dates back to the casting dialog surrounding Stenberg. Some followers questioned whether or not a lighter-skinned actress ought to painting Amari, prompting Stenberg to deal with the criticism publicly. During that dialog, she referenced Adeyemi’s assist of her casting and said the creator had beforehand told her that her efficiency as Rue in The Hunger Games helped inspire the ebook.
