Chipotle debuts more flavorful Pollo Asado — plus…
Chipotle just introduced back a fan-favorite dish, and diners have a new means to attempt it.
The assembly-line-style chain just announced that Pollo Asado is back again, but with a tasty twist. For a restricted time, followers can rating the beloved dish, but with a new recipe — freshly grilled adobo chicken nicely seasoned with garlic, Mexican spices, cilantro and then topped with citrus and lime for a savory, smoky taste.
The fast-casual giant first examined Pollo Asado back in November 2021, changing into the first chicken menu innovation in its 29-year historical past. Diners devoured the juicy bites, which shortly turned a menu favourite.

This time, the chain has added another facet dish to completely pair with the craveable meat — the all-new Chili Lime Chips.
Chipotle took notes from followers as the chips had been created from a viral buyer pattern. The company said it noticed company ditching the fork and dunking store-bought seasoned chips into bowls and eating their meals like a “walking taco.”
The California-based model determined to get in on the enjoyable and put its spin on the chip.
“We saw guests hacking their Chipotle orders with packaged chips and asked ourselves: What would this look like done the Chipotle way?” Fernando Machado, chief model officer, said in a press release.
“Chili Lime Chips are our answer — with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and an ingredient list that doesn’t require a chemistry degree to understand.”
Customers can attempt the Pollo Asado on August 31 and the chips on September 4 Chipotle
Chipotle Rewards members will get first access to the new chips today before rolling out to all clients on September 4.
For a taste bomb, Nevielle Panthaky — senior vice president of culinary at Chipotle — recommended ordering a Pollo Asado bowl with white rice, black beans, roasted chili-corn salsa and guac and a bag of Chili Lime Chips for an added layer of crunch and zest.
“With this new recipe, we wanted to bring more brightness and dimension to Pollo Asado while preserving its savory, smoky flavor,” Panthaky said. “The citrus finish cuts through the smoky notes of the chicken and naturally complements the tangy, spiced seasoning of our Chili Lime Chips.”
For those wanting to get more bang for their buck, The Post just lately reported on a “life-changing” hack for Chipotle lovers.
Digital creator Tom Yanoshik posted on Instagram how he’s ready to rating both a burrito and a burrito bowl out of just one order. It’s simple: order your bowl as traditional, but ask for a tortilla on the facet.
Yanoshik also recommended asking for a facet of cheese, bitter cream and French dressing. Customers can then make their DIY burrito by laying the tortilla flat and dumping about half of the bowl into the center.
The hack works since bowl parts from Chipotle are sometimes bigger than burrito parts, which suggests company can stuff their burritos with almost half of the bowl’s contents and save the remaining for later. Yanoshik calls the hack “life-changing” as you get two meals for the price of one.
