Cleveland radio host loses it after Joe Flaccos…
Cleveland radio host Tony Rizzo crashed out on Friday.
Following Joe Flacco’s stellar efficiency in his second start with the Bengals against Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers in what many deemed as the Unc Bowl on Thursday, Rizzo merely couldn’t take it anymore, questioning why the Browns GM Andrew Berry would commerce the 40-year-old quarterback.
“How could you do that, Andrew?” Rizzo bellowed over the mic during “The Tony Rizzo Show.” “How could you do it? Why on Earth did you feel the need to trade this guy to a division opponent for a fifth-round draft pick? Fireable offense. I wanna know how much longer the owner’s gonna watch this crap?”
“I WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER THE OWNER IS GOING TO WATCH THIS CRAP, BECAUSE THE FANS HAVE HAD IT, WE DESERVE BETTER,” – Rizz is OVER it after last evening. pic.twitter.com/rZkA6Xs2ME— ESPN Cleveland (@ESPNCleveland) October 17, 2025
Rizzo — whose voice saved getting louder as he went on — continued by saying that the followers have had enough of the actions from Cleveland’s proprietor, Jimmy Haslam.
“The fans have had it, we deserve better,” Rizzo yelled as his voice began to break. “You are just nervous more about your stadium than you might be your soccer workforce, that’s the notion, Jimmy. You permit these people to do this.
“You have the worst offense in the league. Your GM screwed this quarterback thing up like I’ve never seen — in my life I’ve never seen anything like it. Kids who play Madden could have done a better job…This franchise has become a joke.”
Rizzo’s scathing feedback come after Flacco threw for 342 passing yards and three touchdowns in the Bengals’ 33-31 win over Pittsburgh Thursday evening.
