CNN interrupted for history making Donald Trump | TV Shows
CNN’s Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten was left astounded when he revealed on air that Donald Trump has set a new record, with his approval ratings soaring beyond any Republican President in recent decades.
The data showed an astonishing 63% approval rating among Republicans for Trump just five months into his campaign, marking a significant increase from the 53% at the same point during his previous term in 2017.
Enten exclaimed, “What are we talking about here? It’s history making, it’s history making! So why don’t we look back? We have all the Republican Presidents going back over the last 35, 36, 37 years.”
He then elaborated on the figures, “Bush 41 had 46%, Bush 43 had 59%, Trump’s first term was 53% – but now it’s 63%! He beats all the other Republicans on the board.
“And I was looking back even since Reagan – and get this, Donald Trump beat Ronald Reagan when it comes to the strongly approved five months in.”
The approval comes after a string of wins for Trump in the last few weeks, including “obliterating” Iran’s nuclear facility and brokering a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, fortifying the southern border, and terminating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
He has also received praise for holding educational institutions like Harvard accountable for “rampant anti-semitism” on their campuses by withdrawing their funding.
