Emmerdale and Coronation Street fans may have to wait a few days for their next cleaning soap opera repair.
In a vital ITV scheduling reshuffle tonight (Friday, March 27), both serial dramas have had episodes eliminated from their common slots.
Corrie and Emmerdale sometimes broadcast 30-minute episodes on weeknights between 8pm and 9pm as half of ITV’s cleaning soap energy hour.

Uruguay has been a difficult adversary over the years – with the Three Lions successful just one of their last six matches against the guests, including a pricey loss in the group phases of World Cup 2014.
ITV’s coverage will start at 7pm, prepared for a 7.45pm kick-off time which means Coronation Street and Emmerdale won’t be broadcast, leaving followers irate.
This is not the first time this month that the cleaning soap schedule has been disrupted by sport. On March 6, followers have been displeased to be taught once again that the soaps had been cancelled by ITV in favour of sports activities coverage, main to an appeal to executives.

To compensate for the loss, ITV has organized an additional episode of both soaps to broadcast on Sunday (March 29) instead, making certain followers will still obtain 5 episodes of their favorite programme this week, albeit not at the same old time.
Corrie fans are keen to uncover what’s next for sinister stalker Mal Roper (Tim Treloar). Earlier this week, the Weatherfield villain skilled a “sudden flashback”, seemingly recalling who assaulted him but the issue is that he hasn’t accused the right man.
Meanwhile, over on Emmerdale, Kim Tate (Claire King) was compelled to justify her alternative to bequeath manor home Home Farm to Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) upon her demise.
While the rest of her multi-million pound empire will likely be divided among her grandchildren including Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who wasn’t thrilled to uncover that his home can be seized from under him.
