Coronation Street’s Aadi Alahan (performed by Adam Hussain) has accepted he can have to depart the cobbles following a collection of personal and skilled setbacks. She tells the copper she tried to help a lady who verbally abused her and then assaulted her, and Lisa urges her to report the incident to her supervisor. But will she?

The upcoming scenes will mark Adam’s closing ones on the show after enjoying the position of Aadi since 2020. His imminent departure was announced in April amidst a slew of exits and cuts across ITV programming.

The 24-year-old took over the position of Dev Alahan’s son from Zennon Ditchett. However, he has reportedly been dissatisfied with his character’s latest lack of motion, which led him to give up the cobbles for good.

A source told the Sun: “He’s telling people he’s quit, not because he’s had enough of the show, but his character hasn’t had any decent storylines for ages. He’s had loads of new opportunities coming his way, so he already feels like he’s made the right decision.”

Although he has still been on screens he has already been working on new initiatives, including the upcoming movie Spice For Life that he’s starring in alongside Hollyoaks actress Kirsty-Leigh Porter. He not too long ago shared a behind the scenes snap from the set, captioning it: “Was great working with these lot.”
