Coronation Street star moves into caravan after ITV | UK News

A former Coronation Street star has shared an insight into her “home away from home” as she “moved” into a caravan due to work commitments. Sue Cleaver, who is best recognized for her position as Eileen Grimshaw on the ITV cleaning soap, posted to Instagram as she gave her 154,000 followers a tour of her momentary cell home.

Speaking into the digital camera, she explained that when working, she is often on the highway and in the past has frequently had to rely on varied types of lodging, including Airbnb, lodges, and even pals’ sofas. As nicely as being a cleaning soap star, Sue is also a stage actress and goes on tour across the nation. She is presently starring in Alan Ayckbourn’s new play, Snake in the Grass, and after one of her exhibits, Sue shared that a fan approached her to ask if she stays in a lodge. In the clip she admitted: “I’m a bit old for that now, and I like my things to be around me so I bring a bit of home with me.”

The 62-year-old continued: “I can take it to every job that I go to. I’m going to show you around.” She then offered her followers with a tour of her Elddis Buccaneer caravan, which had every part she needed.

It had a cosy dwelling space, with cushions and throws and even a TV. The kitchen space was totally outfitted with a espresso machine, an oven, microwave and a fridge.

The bed room featured a double mattress, with a small rest room hidden away in a sliding door next to it that includes a walk-in bathe.

Sue proudly said: “So this is my home when I am working away. It’s very cosy and it’s great for me.” She added: “Honestly, it’s the best thing. The best thing I have ever done and I absolutely love it!”

The actress waved goodbye to the enduring ITV cobbles after a 25-year stint enjoying Eileen Grimshaw to pursue new alternatives and embrace a recent start, as she said it was time to “embrace change” and “look for new adventures” in her life.

Her character, Eileen, departed for Thailand to be with her son.
