Brandi Carlile has revealed she has raised more than half a million {dollars} to help those affected by the presence of ICE brokers.
Posting on the social media web site, Carlile shared, “Last night was something I’ll never forget. Minnesota is so deeply inspiring to me and the whole country. I can’t believe I got to sing for you and WITH you last night.
“So many people got here together to rejoice your strength and conviction. Together we raised over $600,000 for the advocates for human rights so that they’ll help and symbolize 1000’s of households who desperately need it.”
Carlile continued, “We made a joyful and highly effective noise! Extra particular thanks to @singingresistancetc and songwriter Annie Schlaefer @schlannerz for their unimaginable voices their management and the track that meets the second “It’s ok to change your mind”.”
The Crowded Table hitmaker concluded her post with a special message for the people of Minnesota. “We hope you already know how liked you might be Minnesota!” she wrote.
The Minneapolis concert was also available to watch on a livestream.

Another person shared, “I’m watching on repeat. This is the way in which. Thank you all,” as a third fan raved, “Wow! It’s unimaginable to see these buddies all on stage with Brandi Carlile! Each of their personalities shining and glowing! Love! Thanks for amplifying and sharing! What an unimaginable second for humanity!”
Carlile also hit out at Donald Trump during the show. At one point during the concert, she encouraged Trump supporters to join in with the song It’s OK to Change Your Mind, asking former Trump and ICE supporters to “show us your braveness, go away this behind.”
She also hit out at the 79-year-old president backstage. Speaking to Rolling Stone, she shared, “It’s very clear that this administration is just not in legal immigration. They’re in violent theater.
“Violent theater and dominance over other people. I don’t believe most people signed up for that. Even people who voted for Trump, who I’m angry with, I don’t think they voted for this, and I do think that they can still change their minds.”
