Country star cancels tour after mental health struggles | Music News


Country star Tayler Holden has canceled his tour at short discover due to a “constant struggle” with his mental health.

The 28-year-old singer announced via Instagram on Monday, May 11, that he wouldn’t give you the chance to fulfil his commitments for the rest of his 2026 tour.

Tayler wrote, “To my fans, friends, and everyone who planned to come see these shows, this is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I need to cancel my upcoming shows. Over the past several months, I’ve been in a constant struggle with my mental health in ways that I can no longer ignore.”

He then admitted that despite his success he’s struggling to really feel fulfilled and is experiencing emotions of loneliness. He said, “I’ve tried for awhile now to put my head down and just push through this and give everything I have to the music and the people who support me, but truthfully I’ve reached my limit right now and I need to take a step back and focus on getting healthy.

“I’m doing every thing I’ve ever dreamed of and I still really feel so lonely, still really feel so unfulfilled.

“Performing for you guys is the greatest privilege of my life, and this decision was not made lightly. I know many of you made plans, spent money, and were looking forward to these nights together. And I’m deeply sorry for the disappointment this causes.”

Tayler then shared that he could be looking for help for his mental health struggles as he thanked his followers for their assist. He continued, “I’m taking this time to rest, seek support, and reconnect with myself away from the pressure and pace of touring. My hope is that this break will allow me to return stronger, healthier, and able to give you guys the performances you deserve.

“Thank you for your persistence, compassion, and continued assist. It means more than you’ll ever know. Please take care of yourselves and each other. Talk to y’all soon.”

He captioned the post for his followers by writing, “I’m sorry” and adding a broken heart emoji. Fans of the star rushed to the comments section where they showed their support and love for him.

One wrote, “Sending so much hugs and love your way. Mental health is one of the hardest things to deal with, you are so strong for putting yourself first.” A second said, “Take care of yourself T! We love you. Big hugs and prayers.”

A third commented, “Aww so sorry to here your going through this I know how you feel and health is first before singing so get better we will see you soon and stronger.” Another social media user shared, “Take the time do you need and take time to rest and get well soon.”
