Country star Zac Brown speaks out after satanic | Music News

Country music followers have been buzzing after Zac Brown’s new Las Vegas residency was accused of selling Satanic messages.

Brown not too long ago started performing at The Sphere, a venue that only a handful of artists have performed and one that stays largely uncharted territory for nation musicians.

The Sphere is designed to be absolutely immersive, and the venue options a huge inside screen with more than 250 million pixels and a sound system succesful of delivering bass through the ground itself. For many artists, performing there may be both an honor and a technical problem. Brown believed it will also be an unforgettable expertise for followers.

However, after the show opened, criticism shortly adopted, and some viewers members and online commenters labeled the live performance “satanic” and “demonic,” prompting Brown to deal with the accusations immediately after his Friday night time efficiency.

“Thank y’all for such an incredible, incredible night tonight,” Brown told the gang after wrapping up the show. “I want to say a little something about this show, ’cause there’s a lot of people that pick it up online saying that we’re doing some kind of satanic ritual or something like that. I don’t think we can put any more love and light into a show than what we put into this one right here, ladies and gentlemen.”

The show, titled Love & Fear, options dramatic visuals and a heavier sound than some longtime followers anticipated. While some criticism has centered on what commenters describe as a “heavy metal” twist on Brown’s music, a lot of the backlash has centered on the visible parts used throughout the efficiency.

Online, followers reacted to the imagery, with one writing on X, “The Devil went down to Georgia and possessed Zac Brown…”

“Ohh my god, what happened to zach [sic] brown? That’s not country, that’s not American. That’s evil, that’s weird,” another said, with a third posting, “This is pure evil.”

During the band’s second spherical of reveals at The Sphere, Brown addressed those feedback again and requested followers to help shut down what he described as misinformation.

“I think there are forces out there that don’t want this message to get out,” he said on Friday. “So, if you get a minute, drop somebody a comment or something online that’s trying to say that we’re trying to worship the Devil, which is horse s—. You know what I’m saying?”

Brown ended his remarks on a more appreciative observe, thanking followers for sticking with him through the controversy.

“Thank y’all for the love that you give us,” he said. “Thank you so much for giving us our jobs and our life and music. We’re so grateful to be here.”
