This is the lovely second a couple by accident proposed to each other at the same time — after each had spent months planning the same proposal.
Stormy Phillips, 30, and Kelly Rogers, 29, captured the second they stunned one another by proposing at the same time.
The couple, who have been together for three and a half years, both dropped hints about engagement rings around Christmas 2025.
Without the other one realizing, they both bought each other’s rings designed in the same month and determined to use their annual summer time journey for the proposal.
The couple is avid hikers, so when the alternative for a hike in the Swiss mountains arose, they both knew it was the excellent alternative.

Stormy, a capital marketing consultant based in Charleston, South Carolina, said: “I couldn’t consider it.
“When Kelly bought down on one knee, I used to be so shocked and then immediately so excited to do the same for her.
“It was a real magical moment.”
Kelly and Stormy met at the health club when they both lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, and have been pals for months before beginning to date.

The couple moved from Charlotte to Charleston in April 2023 and has lived there together since.
Stormy said, “We just occurred to go to the same health club and turned fast pals.
“About three or 4 months in is when we began courting after I confessed my emotions for her.
“After the transfer, we knew we wished to get married, but have been in no rush.

“That was until Kelly pointed out a video of a particular type of engagement ring, and started dropping hints.”
Both ladies have been under the assumption that there was no rush to get engaged, but that shortly modified when Kelly dropped a trace about an engagement ring.
After that, Stormy subtly told Kelly her own ring preferences, and they both reached out to designers without the other one realizing.
Stormy said, “When she confirmed me the ring she thought was cute, that was my signal to go forward.

“Little did I do know, she was just attempting to get my ideas out of me so she might go and design a ring for me!
“I’m fairly sure we have been both designing our rings in the same month, but with different designers.
“The one I got for her arrived in March, and I think the one she bought arrived in early April.”
Both thought to pop the query while mountain climbing on their annual summer time journey.
For 2025, they have been going to Switzerland, then Amsterdam and Copenhagen, for a couple of weeks at the end of May.
Both Stormy and Kelly also both deliberate to meet up with pals who lived in Amsterdam to have a good time, so their pals had to lie to them both concurrently.
Stormy said, “I used to be pondering about how to suggest, but then Kelly just saved suggesting and planning different mountain climbing routes for when we have been in Switzerland.

“I used to be pondering ‘Oh great- I don’t have to plan a lot of Kelly’s proposal myself,’ having no clue that she was really planning mine.
“Our friends who are based in Amsterdam were actually getting confused trying to keep up with which of us had told them what – it was so funny!”
Stormy was in a position to seize the romantic second on video, where Kelly unexpectedly bought down on one knee mid-hike.
She said: “We have been both silent for the first half of the wet hike, both pondering the same nervous ideas.

“Once the climate had cleared, we stopped at this lovely view, and Kelly prompt taking some images.
“I had no concept we have been working together to make the proposal occur.
“The reveal felt epic, and I was so happy to return the favor.”
Stormy and Kelly spent the relaxation of the hike laughing and filling each other in on what the other had been up to.
“We’re now planning a road trip around Portugal with both of our mothers in July to tour venues for our wedding,” Stormy said. Stormy Phillips / SWNS
They went on to Amsterdam to have a good time with pals and are now planning their 2027 Portugal marriage ceremony.
Stormy said, “We continued the hike and just chatted about every thing each of us missed.
“We’re now planning a street journey around Portugal with both of our moms in July to tour venues for our marriage ceremony.
“Once we have that pinned down, we can start booking everything for our 2027 nuptials.”
