The Micah Parsons-Cowboys drama just gained’t end.

Weeks after the celebrity cross rusher requested a commerce out of Dallas, the stalemate between the Parsons and the crew continues.

Despite reviews this week that Parsons and the Cowboys could also be heading their separate methods, oddsmakers at FanDuel Sportsbook Canada are still anticipating the four-time Pro Bowler to keep put once Week 1 rolls around.

The Cowboys are still a heavy -370 favourite to mend variations with Parsons and keep him on their roster for the start of the 2025 NFL season, which begins with Dallas visiting the Eagles on Sept. 4

The oddsboard runs counter to feedback made by ESPN insider Adam Schefter, who said the 2 sides have been “headed towards divorce” after the connection deteriorated throughout the offseason.

“You can’t get a deal done if you’re not even talking, and the two sides haven’t had any negotiations since late March or early April, and it sounds like at this point it’s personal,” Schefter said on Tuesday’s episode of his self-titled podcast.

Parsons, the Cowboys’ twelfth total decide in 2021, has been searching for a new deal as he enters the ultimate 12 months of his rookie contract.

The 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year pubblicly requested a commerce from the Cowboys on Aug. 1, citing a lack of communication from the membership to negotiate a deal.

Betting on the NFL?

He explained that he no longer desires to play for the franchise, as the membership has yet to contact his agent after Parsons and Cowboys proprietor Jerry Jones mentioned a new deal in March.

“Unfortunately I no longer want to be here,” Parsons wrote on social media. “I no longer want to be held to close door negotiations without my agent present. I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization our fans and my teammates … I have made a tough decision I no longer want to play for the Dallas Cowboys.”
