Danica Patrick trolls Canada with 51st state…
Danica Patrick is actually reveling in this Olympic victory lap.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, the retired NASCAR driver, 43, savagely jabbed the Canadian males’s hockey crew in the wake of their crushing 2-1 time beyond regulation defeat to the U.S. in the Milan Cortina Games.
“If Canada had been smart and become the 51st State, they’d be gold medalists right now,” Patrick captioned the post, which included a picture of Team Canada sporting their silver medals, according to Us Weekly. “Too soon?”

The feedback made by Patrick mirror past remarks from President Donald Trump, whom she backed during his 2024 presidential marketing campaign.
Last yr, the commander-in-chief floated the concept of Canada turning into the 51st state amid Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s resignation.
“Many people in Canada LOVE being the 51st State. The United States can no longer suffer the massive Trade Deficits and Subsidies that Canada needs to stay afloat. Justin Trudeau knew this, and resigned,” Trump posted on Truth Social in January 2025.
“If Canada merged with the U.S. [sic], there would be no Tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be TOTALLY SECURE from the threat of the Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them. Together, what a great Nation it would be!!!”

In his first call with Trudeau’s successor, Trump pitched the concept of a 51st state, Prime Minister Mark Carney shared last April.
Team USA has been celebrating up a storm following its gold-medal triumph Sunday, claiming the top of the rostrum in males’s hockey for the first time since 1980.

The golden group first took a victory lap Monday at Miami’s E11EVEN nightclub, where ESPN character Pat McAfee paid the $150,000 booze tab, before touring north to Washington, D.C.
The males’s crew visited Trump at the White House on Tuesday before some members of the squad took in the president’s State of the Union tackle later in the night.
The group has come under fire in latest days following their congratulatory telephone call with Trump, who joked he also had to invite the ladies’s U.S. hockey crew after their gold-medal run at the Olympics, or else: “I believe I probably would be impeached.”
Brothers Quinn and Jack Hughes — the latter of whom scored the golden aim against Canada on Sunday — spoke about the bond the lads’s crew developed with the ladies’s squad during a “Good Morning America” interview Tuesday.
“There’s been so much headlines about us and the women’s hockey team and the video, but we hung out — we were in the cafeteria with them until three in the morning,” Jack, who performs for the Devils, said seemingly about his compatriots.
The girls’s crew declined Trump’s invite due to scheduling conflicts. Flavor Flav has since invited the gold-medal group to a “real celebration.”
