“Investigators say DNA recovered from a glove found near Nancy Guthrie’s home is a possible match for the type believed to have been worn by a masked person captured on surveillance video. Authorities are waiting final test results on that glove, but they are also focusing on a Walmart backpack worn by that suspect in the video.”

According to sources who spoke with ABC, Nancy’s kin are “frustrated with the pace of the investigation.” Linsey subsequently transitioned to ABC correspondent Aaron Katersky, reporting from Tucson, for extra particulars.

Aaron informed viewers, “Tonight, two weeks after Nancy Guthrie’s abduction, investigators are zeroing in on two unique traits of the suspect, spotted lurking at her front door. They’re utilizing sales records to track down the purchase of the Walmart backpack the suspect is seen sporting.”

Aaron revealed, “The FBI can distinction the male profile with the DNA found on Nancy Guthrie’s property and cross-reference it through a national DNA database.”

He added, “Tonight, sources also inform ABC News that investigators are veering away from members of the Guthrie household as suspects.”

The news anchor reported that investigators are also discounting two men who were detained following traffic stops, one in Rio Rico and the other approximately two miles from Nancy’s residence in Tucson. Both men were released within hours of their detention.

Sheriff Chris Nanos assured ABC investigators that they “will not stop” until they uncover what happened to Nancy. Reporting live from Tucson, Aaron stated, “The FBI may have one thing back on the glove DNA within 24 hours, Linsey.”

He further noted, “Investigators are also working to construct out a more substantial profile of the suspect. They’ve already estimated his top, 5’9″ or 5,10″, of average construct. Now they are going to attempt and measure his weight, possibly his shoe measurement, to give the public one thing more to go on.”
