DeChambeau slams LIV Golf official on state of | Golf News

Bryson DeChambeau was livid with the state of the course at Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico City, as the LIV Golf star was heard complaining to a guidelines official during the match.

LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil insisted in an e mail to employees that the league stays “full throttle” for the future, and has since doubled down during interviews on the printed. However, LIV Golf has dealt another blow to DeChambeau after he was disgusted by the course situations.

DeChambeau managed to make good of a bad situation, hit an accurate chip shot, and later made par. His complaints come at a turbulent time, with LIV Golf rejecting speculation that the league has an uncertain future or is expected to lose funding.

LIV Golf CEO O’Neil has made it clear that it’s business as usual and has responded to online reports during the Mexico City event. “LIV Golf is in the best form it’s ever been in its historical past,” he said to TNT.

“The reality is you’re funded through the season, and then you work like crazy to create a business and a business plan to keep us going. But that’s not different than any other private equity business in the history of mankind.”

Rahm, who signed for LIV Golf after receiving the biggest golf contract in historical past, claimed that he wasn’t bothered by online hypothesis. “For me, it didn’t make sense to think about it or waste time thinking about (it).”

“Since everything happened so suddenly and so quickly, I wasn’t very worried about it because normally, before the rumors start, we already know something — there’s always someone within the league who knows something. It happened so fast that I really didn’t worry about it.”
