Denise Richards has damaged her silence.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 54, took to Instagram on Thursday, Aug. 21, to talk about her “very difficult” break up from Aaron Phypers, 52, after less than six years of marriage.

“I was just checking in to see how your summer’s been going,” Richards started. “Mine has been wonderful.”
“It’s actually been s—ty. But I’m gonna pretend like it’s all good,” she confessed. “I’ve actually been posting on Instagram like nothing’s going on in my life, and I can’t do that anymore, because there’s something obviously going on.”
The “Wild Things” actress went on to thank her followers for their assist as she continues to course of her ugly break up from Phypers.

“Many of you have been so kind and so supportive of me. I see all of your messages,” Richards added. “I can’t comment because it’ll be taken out and put in the press, but I just wanted to, in all seriousness, say that this has been a very, very, very difficult time.”
After combating back tears, the previous Bravo star opened up about “hard” divorce from her estranged husband – noting it’s particularly difficult since it’s her second. She divorced her first husband, Charlie Sheen, back in 2006.
“It’s so hard to go through a divorce,” she explained. “Many of you have gone through that. This isn’t my first one, it’s my second one, and I never thought I’d get divorced again. This is why I always say never say never.”

“There are circumstances around my divorce that are difficult to talk about,” Richards continued. “One day, I will talk about it when the time is right. I just want to process everything and get through this. It has not been easy, so your messages mean a lot.”
Richards also thanked her more than 1.6 million followers for their assist in the caption of her emotional Instagram video.
“Just a little moment of gratitude,” she wrote. “Thank you for the love—your kindness and support don’t go unnoticed! It means a lot to me.”

The drama between Richards and Phypers, who married in September 2018, kicked off on July 7 when the actor-turned-wellness practitioner filed for divorce from the previous Bravo actuality star.
He listed “irreconcilable differences” as the explanation for the breakup, according to paperwork obtained by The Post, and listed their date of separation as July 4.
Things then escalated a few days later when Richards was granted a momentary home violence restraining order against Phypers.

According to court paperwork obtained by The Post at the time, Richards accused Phypers of threatening to kill her if she reported the alleged altercations to the police.
“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack,” she claimed in the submitting.
Phypers denied Richards’ home violence allegations and claimed that he not only “never physically harmed” her but that he “has been the one deprived of property, income, and access to his child and family resources” amid their break up.

More not too long ago, the pair has been in the throes of a contentious legal battle concerning their household and shared home.
In new court paperwork filed Aug. 20 and first obtained by People on Thursday, Phypers alleged that his adoption of Richards’ daughter, Eloise, 14, was never made official.
Although the actor said that he signed adoption papers for his “daughter by bond of over nine years,” he claimed that the previous “RHOBH” star “failed to file them.”

Phypers also claimed that he has been left “legally without his daughter despite raising her as his own.”
“This has caused immeasurable harm and demonstrates the imbalance [Richards] maintains in this matter,” he added.
Richards adopted Eloise, who suffers from a chromosome 8 deletion genetic disorder, in 2016, and beforehand said Phypers adopted her in 2019.
The “Starship Troopers” actress also has two other daughters, Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with Sheen.

Phypers’ most latest submitting on Wednesday got here in response to a submitting Richards submitted sooner or later earlier concerning the estranged couple’s Calabasas home.
Although both events are named on the lease, Richards requested that her ex and his household vacate the property so she may safely retrieve her canines and personal belongings without violating the momentary restraining order they presently have in place.
