Dennis Quaid backs Spencer Pratt for Los Angeles…
Hollywood star Dennis Quaid has come out in assist of Spencer Pratt for Los Angeles mayor — in another signal Hollywood is coming around to his candidacy.
The actor, who starred in “Far from Heaven,” “The Big Easy” and “The Substance,” backed the impartial candidate in a Fox News interview Wednesday.
“Go Spencer Pratt,” Quaid said when requested about the LA mayor’s race last week.

When requested why, Quaid appeared puzzled.
“Why? What are you talking about, why? Just look around, man,” he laughed.
The 72-year-old has been vital of LA Mayor Karen Bass in the past and has called for her to resign. He had to evacuate his home because of the Palisades Fire last 12 months.

Pratt has led his marketing campaign with his assist for Palisades Fire victims and his opposition to Bass’s insurance policies and actions surrounding the fires. He’s thought of a top candidate for LA mayor in the upcoming June 2 main.
He filed a grievance against Bass’s marketing campaign on Tuesday for allegedly violating election law by partaking in unlawful electioneering.
“Electioneering within 100 feet of a ballot box is AGAINST THE LAW. Soliciting votes at a ballot box is AGAINST THE LAW. These clear violations show a reckless disregard for the rule of law and our democratic process,” he wrote on X.
Other Hollywood actors including Katharine McPhee, Brody Jenner and James Woods have backed Pratt.
A Cygnal ballot launched May 20 confirmed Pratt in second place with 22% of the vote as Bass led with 25%, and socialist Councilwoman Nithya Raman took up third place with 18% assist.
