The development has prompted recent reactions from a number of members of the movie fraternity, many of whom had voiced help for the student-led motion over the past week. Several actors described the resignation as proof that peaceable, democratic protests can carry about change, while others urged the federal government to focus on long-term reforms in the schooling system.
