DHS Puts Masked Portland Wacktivists on Notice

One of the most infamous ways employed by left-wing agitators during their so-called “peaceful protests” is to attempt and conceal their identities by carrying a bandana or scarf that partially covers their faces, ski mask-style facial coverings, or some sort of character masks that obscures just about all the things but their eyes.

More just lately in Portland, however, the nightly rabble rousers have, in many cases, begun carrying full costumes in entrance of town’s ICE facility as a means to distract and deceive federal law enforcement, one thing we also noticed during some of the “No Kings” protests in mid-October.

All individuals are prohibited from partaking in the next conduct, on federal property or in areas exterior federal property, that impacts, threatens, or endangers federal property or individuals on the federal property —

(a) Disorderly conduct, which incorporates, but will not be restricted to, assaulting, preventing, harassing, intimidating, threatening or other violent habits, lewd acts, or the inappropriate disposal of feces, urine, and other bodily fluids.

(b) Wearing a masks, hood, disguise, or gadget that conceals the id of the wearer when trying to keep away from detection or identification while violating any federal, state, or local law, ordinance, or regulation. 

(c) Creating a loud or uncommon noise, noxious odor, or other nuisance. 

According to Katie Daviscourt, who is an investigative reporter for The Post Millennial and who spoke at President Donald Trump’s Antifa roundtable in early October, the benefits introduced about by the new coverage are a “game changer” in the continued battle between the leftist militants, their Democrat/media apologists, and the Trump administration:

In DHS’ announcement on the matter, they famous that the “accelerated effective date” of the coverage was due to the sharp uptick in violence against federal immigration officers and detention facilities. Other highlights of the coverage embody:

• Expanded Charging Authority: FPS now has enhanced charging authority to deal with violations occurring both on and off property to the extent it impacts federal property and the individuals thereon.
• Modernized Prohibited Conduct: Regulates the unauthorized use of unmanned plane systems (drones), tampering with digital networks, and other security dangers at and close to federal amenities.
• Additional Prohibited Conduct: Adds extra expenses for conduct affecting the security, security, and orderly authorities features on federal property.
• Clearer Public Notice: Standardized notices governing conduct shall be posted at federal amenities.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: The regulation emphasizes cooperation among federal tenants, security personnel, and local law enforcement. 

If it is like all the things else, the new coverage absolutely shall be challenged in the courts. In the meantime, at least ICE brokers now have more instruments at their disposal to fight the agitators and quell the lawless mobs that Democrats keep telling us do not exist.
