Donald Trump delivers menacing three-word promise

Donald Trump issued a menacing assertion to the town of Chicago while addressing the media in the White House on Tuesday.

The president boasted that crime had gone down in Washington, D.C. after he deployed troops from the National Guard all over the town last month. When requested if he would do the same in other cities he is deemed to have been overrun by crime, Trump wasn’t shy about sounding the alarm.

“We’re going in,” said Trump. “I didn’t say when we’re going in.”

Trump said his actions weren’t a “political thing,” but an obligation. “We’re going to do it. We have the right to do it, because I have an obligation to protect this country.”

Since deploying troops in Washington, D.C., Trump claimed the town is now a “safe zone” with no crime.

The president claimed that more than 1,600 “hardcore criminals” had been taken out of the town in the 15 days that the troops had been current.

“These are hardcore criminals. We took many people off the streets of Washington, D.C. They’re hardcore,” said the president. “They’re not gonna be good in 10 years, in 20 years, in two years, they’re gonna be criminals. They were born to be criminals, frankly … They’ll cut your throat and not even think about it the next day.”

Trump’s use of the National Guard is not new. In June, the president deployed troops in Los Angeles, California, during a “No Kings” protest against the administration’s immigration insurance policies.

It marked the first time in 60 years that a president had activated the National Guard in a state without a request from its governor. On Tuesday, however, U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer ruled that Trump’s actions in California had been unlawful, violating the Posse Comitatus Act, which limits the facility of the federal authorities to use army drive for home points.

White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly called Breyer a “rogue judge” who “is trying to usurp the authority of the Commander-in-Chief to protect American cities from violence and destruction.” The ruling is on maintain until September 12, and the Trump administration is anticipated to appeal.

“The President is committed to protecting law-abiding citizens, and this will not be the final say on the issue,” said Kelly.

Meanwhile, Governor Gavin Newsom, with whom Trump has been engaged in an online feud, said that “the court sided with democracy and the Constitution.”

Trump Crackdown

Approximately 1,900 troops had been deployed to Washington, D.C., with more than half of them coming from Republican-led states after Trump declared a “crime emergency” in the town. The act got here after a former DOGE staffer was injured in an tried carjacking.

Despite metropolis data displaying that violent crime is at a 30-year low, Trump claimed that the White House had to “rescue” Washington, D.C. from “crime, bloodshed, and squalor, and worse.”

“D.C. gave Fake Crime numbers in order to create a false illusion of safety. This is a very bad and dangerous thing to do, and they are under serious investigation for so doing!” the president wrote on Truth Social last month.

“Washington, D.C., was the most unsafe ‘city’ in the United States, and perhaps the World. Now, in just a short period of time, it is perhaps the safest, and getting better every single hour! People are flocking to D.C. again, and soon, the beautification will begin!”

The president is allowed to take command of D.C.’s National Guard and use local police for federal functions with the 1973 Home Rule Act, but only for 30 days if not licensed by Congress. There is no restrict to how many instances Trump can use the D.C. National Guard.

Trump has set his sights on other Democratic-led cities such as Baltimore and New York.
