President Donald Trump has been accused of nodding off during the UFC cage struggle held at the White House to have fun his eightieth birthday.
The Commander-in-Chief appeared to be catching some much-needed relaxation while seated alongside UFC president Dana White.
On the night of June 14, the White House garden was reworked into an enviornment for the hard-hitting UFC Freedom 250 conflict between MMA fighters Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. This comes as Donald Trump was lately declared “not well” in a PBS health alert.
As the 2 fighters battled it out in the cage, footage of Trump allegedly dozing off mid-event shortly went viral across social media platforms.
Caught on live tv and subsequently circulated online, the 80-year-old was seen leaning barely toward White, showing drowsy with his eyes shut.
The viral video was captioned: “Trump fell asleep at UFC Freedom 250 on the White House lawn, his 80th birthday event.”
In the wake of the event, Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Monday morning to reward its success, writing: “The UFC at the White House last night was incredible… The White House has never looked more beautiful. The setting was unsurpassed! The weather was scheduled to be horrendous, and it turned out to be PERFECT! So much for weather predicting.”
This is not the first event Trump has been accused of dozing off during public appearances. Just last week, he might have nodded off at the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Seated alongside Knicks proprietor James Dolan in a non-public box, his habits was labeled “the most expensive taxpayer-funded nap” by social media observers.
The earlier week, he appeared to drift off in the Oval Office while Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum have been conducting a press briefing.
Sharp-eyed watchers also observed Trump’s “pale-looking hand” and sparked online hypothesis concerning his wellbeing. One commenter remarked: “Trump, his hand visibly discolored, looks every bit of 80 as he poses with Dana White.”
Another instructed Trump was concealing a hand injury: “Now you know why he salutes rather than placing his hand on where his heart is supposed to be.”
