Don’t get me incorrect, there’s still a lot of protest motion going down in the streets of downtown LA Monday evening, but it’s nothing prefer it was over the weekend when they burned Waymo automobiles, attacked ICE officers, and shut down the essential 101 freeway. The LAPD can take a ton of well-deserved credit for the crackdown Monday night—but does anybody actually suppose they might have accomplished something if Trump hadn’t gotten concerned?
It was just on Saturday that they have been claiming that the riots have been “Peaceful Protests.” My, how they’ve modified their tune:

What if this strategy had been taken by “leaders” during the 2020 George Floyd protests, where cities have been allowed to burn with little pushback from law enforcement? What if a tough-on-crime strategy had been taken all along in failed cities like Los Angeles or San Francisco, where the residents are second-class and the criminals are the victims in the eyes of progressive Democrat politicians?
