President Donald Trump issued a fierce warning directed at Iran, drawing sharp criticism from some viewers online.

On July 19, Fox News interrupted its common programming to broadcast live footage of Trump, 80, touching down at Joint Base Andrews in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Trump had returned from the World Cup 2026 remaining, where Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in a humiliating defeat. The event concluded at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Yet all consideration was centered on the president, who, after awarding Spain the trophy, appeared hesitant to exit the stage.

“But I assumed it was unbelievable,” he added. “It was 4 instances better than any FIFA ever held, and it is in all probability about 5 instances, truly, they’re telling me today.

“So we’re very proud of our country, we’re very proud of the job that everybody did. We congratulate Gianni Infantino, and all of his staff, and the incredible job they did,” Trump concluded.

“But this was one of the greatest events of any kind ever held.”
