The ninth season of Dana White’s Contender Series entered its fourth week on Tuesday internet hosting a five-bout combat card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
The event was headlined by a welterweight bout between Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani and Jack Congdon. It took Lebosnoyani 68 seconds to stop Congdon with a head kick. The knockout win earned “Mufasa” a UFC contract.
Following the event, UFC CEO Dana White announced that 4 fighters had earned contracts in blended martial arts’ largest promotion. Joining Lebosnoyani was middleweight Cezary Oleksiejczuk, light-weight Mandel Nallo, and featherweight Tommy McMillen.
