DWTS cast and fans slam judges after | TV Shows

Dancing With the Stars fans have been discovering themselves “uncomfortable” as they watch different moments unfold on the ABC show’s current season, with their most notable issue being inconsistent scoring from the judges–and it seems the professionals are also getting fed up.

The show has been blasted lately for what many have seen as unusual metrics for scores, with some routines scored increased than anticipated after feedback that have been made, while others have been praised but still noticed low marks.

And while fans have been stating points with the judges, including Derek Hough, whose past feedback being closely essential of dances have resurfaced, it seems they’ve finally reached a breaking level when it comes to the best way the scores have been handed out.

Taking to Reddit after the latest Halloween-themed episode, many voiced complaints over the best way the scores performed out throughout the episode, with most of the {couples} taking a tumble from one week prior.

One individual proceeded to go on a large rant, saying the show has “lost the plot” when it comes to the best way the judges current their marks for the routines.

“I think the fundamental issue with the show in recent years has been the scoring and it’s been annoying me SO much and taking me out of the seasons tbh,” the individual wrote. “Why do the judges have paddles 1-10 if they aren’t going to use them?? Like I don’t understand why they just can’t be REAL with the dances.”

“If the dance is bad, score it so. If it’s good, score it like that!!!!” They added. “…They need to score the dance in that given moment, regardless of outside circumstances imo, and score it APPROPRIATELY.”

The individual then admitted that viewers and fans doubtless weren’t serving to the state of affairs, before additional sharing their ideas on the judges’ scores.

“…I deeply hate the way the judges score everyone in the same interval, because when people get 6-8 in the first weeks, they think they deserve higher scores not because they’ve actually gotten better, but because it’s further in the competition and the scores should just be increasing regardless,” they continued. “They need an objective, standardized rubric so they can give scores that actually reflect the quality of the dance in terms of the specific contestant and in context of the other contestants.”

It seems fans aren’t the only ones growing fed-up, as the show’s own cast of professionals has also shown seen reactions to the scores their companions or other celebs have obtained.

On the show’s dedication evening, Alan Bersten, 31, visibly seemed upset when he and Elaine Hendrix, 54, obtained two 7’s after their routine, and was reported to have walked off the set as a end result after the fact.

Similarly, Pasha Pashkov, 39, spoke out about “unfair” criticism he and Danielle Fishel, 44, obtained from Carrie Ann Inaba, 57, during the same episode, where she said their dances all “looked the same,” but he identified they’d two very related dance kinds two weeks in a row.

Now, Witney Carson, 32, has seemingly weighed in, at least inadvertently.
